Warrens Seekers of the Supernatural 2024 Paracon.

Join us for this wild ride!

A Hauntingly Unforgettable Experience at the Warrens Seeker of the Paranormal Paracon

This year, we had the spine-tingling privilege of attending the Warrens Seeker of the Paranormal Paracon—an event every paranormal enthusiast dreams of. Hosted in honor of the legendary Ed and Lorraine Warren, the event brought together experts, investigators, and fans under one roof to celebrate and explore the supernatural.

One of the highlights of our experience was meeting some of the biggest names in the paranormal community. We had the opportunity to chat with Ryan Buell, known for his captivating investigations on Paranormal State; and boy did I get major starstruck, my hands were shaking. I had waited my whole young adult life to meet Ryan and hug him and let him know what an impact he had on me as a young sensitive and educating people like me on the paranormal in a time were the internet was just starting. He has overcome so much and is truly one of my biggest idols. So…please imagine my surprise where we casually also ran into him at O’Rorkes bar and pub resturant in Gettysburg and he so humbly said “oh hey guys, nice to see you again!” I almost fainted LOL!

We also got to chat see my dear friend & psychic medium April Busset, whose energy was as powerful as it was welcoming; author and historian Sam Baltrusis, whose knowledge of haunted history is second to none; and, of course, the charismatic trio, the Ghost Brothers. Not only did we get to meet them, but we were fortunate enough to hang out with them after the event, sharing stories, laughter, and even a few chills.

The eerie centerpiece of the paracon, however, was none other than Annabelle the Doll. Seeing this infamous artifact from the Warren Museum in person was an experience we won't soon forget. As we geared up and got ready to follow the path around the solid white tent enclosing the mueseum from passerby eyes, we rounded the corner along the thick white tarp like material and immediately I was hit with sickness and a sense of pure evil. In an instant the only thing that stood between me and the devil was this thin white tarp of a tent, she was right there on the other side of where I was standing. I looked at my husband and said, “She’s along this wall, I can feel her” and sure enough when we finally made the long round about to the opposite site of the sports complex, I could see her wooden enclosure on the exact wall where I had felt her. The air around her case seemed heavier, and the stories shared about her malevolent past left a lasting impression. When it came time to take a picture, I asked for permission, thanked her, and asked god to protect me, standing with my back to her felt like turning my back on a very large predator waiting to pounce.

Alongside Annabelle, other haunting artifacts from the Warren Museum were on display, each with its own sinister tale and energy. I had the upmost honor of speaking personally with Wade Kirby for some time. So naturally, I asked Kirby what his favorite artifact was (stupidly so) because we all know you don’t give them attention like that, but was in the midst of good conversation and enamored that I was talking to the very people I had idolized my whole life. He was so kind and said to me “I dont say favorite, I won’t give them that kind of attention, one in particular is over here” he said this artifact had the most interesting back story. He proceeded to guide me over to this massive looming statue and it reeked of malicious and damning energy, it was pure fire and brimstone and the energy coming off of it is enough to make you shudder; This was known as the “Satanic Idol.”

Ed and Lorraine Warren encountered the Satanic Idol during an investigation in the woods of Connecticut in the late 1980s. The idol was discovered deep in a forested area where a series of disturbing rituals were allegedly taking place. Local reports suggested strange occurrences, missing animals, and an overwhelming sense of dread among those who wandered too close to the site.

When the Warrens arrived, they found the idol surrounded by evidence of ritualistic ceremonies, including symbols carved into nearby trees, burned offerings, and remnants of animal sacrifice. The idol itself was carved out of stone and depicted a horned, demonic figure with an unnerving presence.

According to Ed Warren, the Satanic Idol was not merely an object of worship but also a conduit for malevolent forces. It was allegedly used in rituals to summon demonic entities and manipulate dark energy for malicious purposes. The idol's placement in the woods seemed intentional, possibly to maintain secrecy and to harness the energy of isolation and fear.

Ed warned that such idols act as spiritual anchors, allowing dark forces to manifest and linger in the physical world. He believed the idol carried a curse and posed a severe danger to anyone who mishandled it or approached it with disrespect. I can certainly see how this is true because I think this idol in particular unnerved me WAY more than Annabelle. If you ever get the chance to see the story of Ed and Lorraine Warren’s story via this museum I HIGHLY recommend.

But beyond the celebrity encounters and haunted relics, the true magic of the Warrens Seeker of the Paranormal Paracon was the sense of community. Whether you were a seasoned investigator or a curious skeptic, the event was a space where everyone could share their fascination with the unknown. It was full of unique vendors, and we even had the pleasure of getting to partake in a Q&A with SUPERNATURAL cast Lucifer & Bobby (Mark Pellegrino & Jim Beaver) to which they were as personable and funny and loveable as they are on screen.

We walked away from the weekend not only with memories to last a lifetime but also with a deeper appreciation for the dedication and passion of those who devote their lives to uncovering the truths behind the world's most chilling mysteries.

If you ever have the chance to attend the Warrens Seeker of the Paranormal Paracon, don't hesitate. It's an experience that will haunt your heart in the best way possible.

Until next time, stay spooky, friends!

Pennhurst Paracon 2024: Spirits, Storms, and Unforgettable Encounters

This year's Pennhurst Paracon was an experience we'll never forget! Nestled among the eerie remnants of the historic Pennhurst Asylum, the event brought together paranormal enthusiasts, investigators, and vendors for a weekend packed with spine-tingling encounters, cherished friendships, and a healthy dose of ghostly mystery.

The weather? Oh, it was brutal. Hot, muggy, and periodically drenched in rain, but that didn’t dampen the electric energy of the weekend. The air was thick—both with humidity and the palpable presence of something... otherworldly.

One of the biggest highlights was meeting Ron and Lourdes from The Staticom Project. Their passion for paranormal research is absolutely contagious, and it was a privilege to chat with them about their methods and some of their most chilling discoveries. We also had the chance to hang out with the Interstate Paranormal team, sharing stories and theories about some of the most haunted corners of Pennhurst.

And then, of course, there was Kindred Spirits' own Adam Berry and Amy Bruni. Meeting these two was like reconnecting with old friends. They are as warm and engaging in person as they are on screen. Of course I got a signed ghosty pouch signed by them (which I love).

The spooky cherry on top? A chilling encounter of my own. While in the courtyard, I looked up to one of the upper floors of a building, I spotted a woman in a hospital gown staring out of a window. Her presence felt heavy, and the air around her seemed... still. Later, I learned that the building was condemned, and no one was supposed to be up there. Who—or what—did I see?

The Ghost Brothers Q&A session was another standout moment. These guys know how to mix humor and heart into their paranormal storytelling, and their energy had the entire room hanging on every word. We even got to spend time with the ever-charming Jess Knapik and the legendary John E.L. Tenney from the fabulous WUW Podcast—and yes, Jess's adorable dog Toad stole everyone’s heart.

Between browsing the unique spooky vendors, swapping stories with new and old paranormal friends, and exploring the haunted grounds of Pennhurst, this Paracon was nothing short of magical. The spirits of Pennhurst still linger, their stories etched into every decaying wall and shadowed hallway.

Until next time, Pennhurst—stay spooky!

My Haunted Manor : The Grand Opening.

It all begins with an idea.

Samuel Miller Mansion: A Haunting Experience at My Haunted Manor's Newest Location

Disclaimer This is the general retelling of our night, some details have been left out due to length or privacy concerns, and may be added in later. **

Our visit to My Haunted Manor's newest location, the Samuel Miller Mansion in Columbia, PA, was an experience that will forever be etched into my memory. The energy of this place was palpable from the moment we approached town, and what unfolded was nothing short of chilling.

Taylor and I embarked on our journey to Columbia, PA, equal parts excited and nervous, maybe even anxious. It became clear as we approached the threshold of town, this was going to be a night we’d never forget. As we passed under a massive bridge on the outskirts of Columbia, I was immediately struck by an overwhelming sensation. My emotions surged, and tears welled up in my eyes without warning. It was as if the spirits of the area were already reaching out, desperate to be heard. My body buzzing in a familiar sensation of what means to me “hallowed ground” there were remains or bodies or deaths here. I wanted to dig into the history because this feeling was insane, the vibrational energy and residual trauma left here and from what? I didn’t know yet. Messages began to flood in from the other side and taylor’s quick thinking kicked in and she started to do my writing for me. Dozens of signs and messages being scribbled down form my visions. Once we arrived into the main town something very odd started happening, It felt like something was crushing my vocal cords, leaving me nearly speechless and with what felt like a spontaneous case of laryngitis. I won’t lie when I say I grew nervous, I was being warned and something was trying to send a message of discouragement - it didn’t want me here.

When we began our initial sweep of the mansion, I immediately recognized the space, this was the place my grandmother came to me in a dream about, the red clay she showed me continuously in my dream was brick dust, which I later came to realize was her symbol of protection, it was signaling to protect myself from the entity down there and she showed me all of the dirt and emphasis on this being the space that fuels the energy in this place. It wasn’t too soon before I picked up on a particularly malevolent male spirit in the basement. This entity seemed to enjoy shapeshifting, using its form to intimidate women. The energy was dark, oppressive, and undeniably threatening. As we moved upstairs, I felt the presence of children spirits and another male entity lingering on the top floor what I would later refer to as the tall man, very slender very tall with a ring leader type look, tall hat long black coat/fancy jacket.

Our investigation started in the basement, and it was here that I was overcome with uncontrollable crying. TRIGGER WARNING: The energy in this space was harrowing. I was struck with visions and sensations of sexual assault, a woman being brutally attacked and murdered. I could taste blood and dirt in my mouth—a horrifying reminder of the trauma etched into those walls. Beautiful young disabled woman with red hair and a sweet unknowing and trusting demeanor. Her death brought me to my knees, angered me and I grew deeply resentful and protective of the female spirits against this disgusting male entity. Amidst this darkness, I also connected with the spirit of an enslaved individual, someone maternal and fiercely protective, whose presence brought a fleeting sense of comfort in such an oppressive space.

Later, in the print shop, we gathered again, trying to make contact with a spirit named "Thomas." Despite our efforts, Thomas remained unresponsive. Then, out of nowhere, I received the words "music" and "hymns" in my mind. I suggested it to the group, and Emily's mother mentioned the song "What a Friend We Have in Jesus." In perfect synchronicity, that was the exact song I had in mind. We began to sing together, and as our voices grew louder and more unified, the equipment lit up brilliantly. The cat balls glowed brighter and brighter, and the room became charged with a deeply spiritual energy. It was one of the most beautiful and emotional moments I've ever experienced during an investigation.

When we moved to the second and third floors for an Estes Method session, things took an even more surreal turn. While conducting a double Estes session, our teammate Emily heard my voice cry for help over her headset. Alarmed, they walkie-talkied to check on me. At the same time, I was actively reporting the male entity from upstairs stalking and trying to intimidate me. It became clear that the male entity upstairs was in cohorts with the one from the basement.

In another group using a spirit box nearby, a chilling voice came through their headphones: "Who's Morgan? They want to speak with Morgan." The specificity of the message sent shivers down our spines.

However, the story doesn't end there. After we left the mansion, I was afflicted by the darker male entity for weeks. It nearly stopped my investigating journey before it had truly begun. After some reflection, I realized this entity had recognized that I was onto something—the basement held dark, unspeakable secrets. I believe there are bodies hidden in that space, evidence of the heinous acts committed there. The entity wanted to silence me, to stop me from uncovering the truth.

This investigation at the Samuel Miller Mansion was equal parts harrowing and awe-inspiring. It was a reminder of both the darkness and light that linger in these historic spaces, and of the importance of giving a voice to the spirits who still reside there. For those brave enough to step into its halls, the Samuel Miller Mansion has stories to tell—stories that demand to be heard.

It all begins with an idea.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
